Senior Hurling

On next Sunday the senior hurlers play Kildangan in Nenagh in the third round of the championship at 2.00 p.m..

Junior C Hurling

The junior C hurlers recorded their third successive league victory with a 1-17 to 2-6 win against Ballinahinch in Shalee. Team: Robert Ward, Fergus England, Colin England, Cian Williams, Cormac Williams, David Slattery, Timmy Walsh, Garry Prout, Scott Hodgins, Morgan Conway (0-7), Kevin Prout (0-1), James Sullivan, David Williams (0-1), Sean Hayes and Eoin Williams (1-7). Subs: Finbar McLoughney, (0-1), Alan Darcy, Danny Reddan, Ian O Brien and Dermot Murphy.

Junior A Hurling

The junior A hurlers lost out to Roscrea in the league semi-final in Moneygall on a 3-11 to 2-11 scoreline. The concession of three goals in the first half left MacDonaghs five points adrift at the interval. With the backing of the breeze on the second half Roscrea extended their lead to nine before a spirited Kilruane rally came up short. Denis Cahill sustained a fractured thumb in the second half and the club wishes him a speedy recovery. Team: Brian Gaynor, Freddie Williams, Martin Walsh, Eanna Hogan, Shane Williams, Colm Williams, Cormac Williams, William Cleary, Ruan Casey (0-1), Denis Cahill, Thomas Cleary (0-2), Declan Barrett (0-2), Eoin Williams, Thomas Williams (0-6) and Ger Corcoran (2-0). County League

In the penultimate round of the county league the senior hurlers were beaten away to Portroe on a 3-16 to 2-15 scoreline. The sides were deadlocked on 1-7 each at the interval. The third Portroe goal was the decisive score in the game as it came immediately after MacDonaghs had hit the font with their second green flag. Team: David Reddan. Justin Cahill, Stephen Murphy, Gavin McAvinchey, Eanna Hogan, Ray McLoughney (0-8), Martin Walsh, Liam Gibson, Thomas Cleary (0-1), Shane Quinlan (0-1), Kevin Quinlan (0-1), Ger Corcoran, Darren Killackey (1-1) and Mikey Costello (1-4). Subs: Shane Williams, Pat Conway and Morgan Conway. The final league game will be against JK Brackens.

U-14 Hurling

The U-14 hurlers begin their championship campaign with a home game against Ballina on this Wednesday June 3rd at 7 o clock.

Parish League

On last Saturday De Wets got the better of Rapla on a 10-3 to 7-5 scoreline while Kyle shaded the verdict against Ballycapple on a 9-2 to 6-5 scoreline. On next Saturday Rapla take on Kyle with De Wets squaring up to Ballycapple. These crucial games will decide who contests the league and plate final on Saturday June 6th

Primary Game

Congratulations to Darragh Peters Kilruane N.S., Roisin Cahill Ardcroney N.S. and Grace O Brien Kilruane N.S. who lined out with the Tipperary Primary game teams in Pairc Ui Chaoimh.

Schools Hurling

Kilruane N.S. qualified for the North final with an away victory against Borrisoleigh. In the final they will play Templederry N.S. .
