The senior hurlers made their exit from the championship when they were beaten by Thurles Sarsfields. They now play Lorrha in the Seamus O Riain Cup Final.

Ardcroney N.S. defeated Borrisokane N.S. in the second round of the championship on a 5-6 to 3-3 scoreline. Team: Tommy Holland, Eoghan Mulcahy, Kevin Shinners, Brendan McAdams, Nathan Ryan, Roisin Cahill, Tom Dooley, Peter Folan, Jerome Cahill, Daniel Ryan and Emma Cleary. Ray McLoughney, Stephen Murphy, Freddie Williams, Darren Killackey and Brian O Meara were on the Thomas MacDonaghs team, which defeated Fr. Kenyons in the North Final. Niall Murphy was introduced while Kevin Quinlan, Shane Quinlan, Denis Cahill, Declan Barrett and Diarmuid Cahill were also on the panel.
