Senior Hurling

The senior hurlers just edged out Moycarkey-Borris in the quarter-final of the Seamus O Riain Cup in Templemore.

U-21 Hurling

The U-21 hurlers qualified for the semi-final with a five point win against Nenagh Éire Óg in Puckane on a 1-18 to 0-16 scoreline. There was never much between the teams all through but a goal in the twenty fifth minute by Shane Quinlan helped MacDonaghs to a six point interval lead. The gap widened to eight points early in the second half but Nenagh always kept in touch and at the finish the margin was down to five. U-16 Hurling

The U-16 hurlers lost out to Roscrea in MacDonagh Park on a 4-8 to 1-13 scoreline. MacDonaghs led by a point at the interval but three second half goals by Roscrea ensured they took the points on offer. The final group game is away to Templederry Kenyons on next Saturday August 8th at 4.00 p.m. with a semi-final spot up for grabs. Team: Robert Ward, Simon Delahunty, P.J. Junior Hurling

The junior hurlers play Borris-Ileigh in Toomevara in their last group game on Tuesday August 11th at 7.15 p.m. A win is essential to ensure a place in the knockout stages.

U-14 Hurling

The U-14 hurling semi-final against Nenagh Éire Óg has been pencilled in for Wednesday August 12th.

U-12 Hurling

The U-12 hurlers will play either Nenagh Eire Óg or Toomevara in the North final on Saturday August 15th in Nenagh at 2.00 p.m.

Minor Hurling

The minor hurlers final group game will be at home to Roscrea on Monday August 17th with a qualification spot at stake.

All-Ireland Semi-Final

Applications for tickets for the Tipperary and Limerick match must be made to Michael Cahill by Saturday August 8th. Recently Tipperary captain Willie Ryan and John Tierney chairman of the Supporters Club have called on the county to get behind the team as they prepare to face Limerick. Households throughout the parish are asked to fly the blue and gold colours to show our support for Seamus Hennessy, Eamon O Shea, John Casey and the Tipperary team.

Croke Park Trip

The U-12 and U-14 panels will be travelling to Croke Park for the All-Ireland semi-final. Selectors will inform players of the arrangements.
