U8/U10
The U10 panel took part in the Moneygall U10 Blitz on Saturday last in Moneygall. The team played 3 matches against Burgess, Toomevara and Moneygall. All girls played very well and each of them received a medal on the day. Thanks to Moneygall for the invitation and their hospitality on the day. We are holding an U8 Tournament in Cloughjordan on this Saturday at 10am with six teams taking part. Training for U8/U10 continues on this Wednesday night at the earlier time of 6.30pm in Ardcroney.
U16
The U16 panel travelled to Newmarket-on-Fergus on Sunday evening last to play a practice match against Newmarket-on-Fergus. This was a very tough and competitive match with end to end scoring. It was a good opportunity for the selectors to use all their panel of players who travelled. Seanie MacMahon, the inter-county referee blew up the game at a draw after a very entertaining match. Thanks to Newmarket-on-Fergus for their hospitality last Sunday evening.
