U12
Well done to the U12 team who defeated Cashel in the Shield Semi-final in The Ragg Camogie Field last Thursday night on a scoreline of 1-0 to 0-1. The girls will play Nenagh in the Shield Final on this Tuesday 30th June in The Ragg at 7pm.

U14 FEILE (separate report also attached)
Best wishes for a speedy recovery to Laura Shinners, Bonny Conroy, Louise Torpey, Mickela McGrath and Cliodhna Nevin from their recent injuries.

U16
Commiserations to our U16’s who bowed out of the championship on Thursday evening following defeat by Annacarty in the County Semi-final. This team, featuring a number of positional changes, due to the injuries to four key players at Feile, found it difficult to contain the strong Annacarty forwards who were picking off their scores very easily. Well done to Orla Molloy who made many magnificent saves on the night. The Kilruane girls battled on and worked extremely hard but the result never looked in doubt as Annacarty ran out convincing winners on the night. Thanks to the management team of Eddie Lillis, Tommy Hill, Tom Quinlisk, Eoin Hogan, Tina Conroy and Eileen Molloy for their work and commitment to this bunch of girls. Focus will not turn to the U15 league which is due to get underway shortly.

Intermediate
The Intermediate fixtures have now been confirmed for the upcoming Championship. Kilruane are in Group 2 with Newport, Shannon Rovers and Silvermines. First match is Sunday 9th August v Newport, followed by an away match to Shannon Rovers on Sunday 23rd August and the final fixture is away to Silvermines on Saturday 5th September. The top two teams progress to the Semi-final.

Well done to the Tipperary Senior Camogie team on their one point victory over Derry in the first round of the Championship last Saturday. Club member Roisin Cahill is on the Tipp panel. Their next outing is against Dublin on this Saturday in O’Moore Park in Portlaoise.

Sympathy
Sympathy is extended to the family and relatives of Michael Haverty, Cloughjordan on his recent passing.
