County U16: Commiserations to all girls involved on the u16 A and u16 B teams on Sunday last in Puckaun. The B team played first at 1:30 and were narrowly bet by 2 minutes due to a goal for Clare with the last puck off the game. Aoife Sullivan lined out at corner back and had a brilliant game driving out with numerous ball. The A team then played at 3:00 v Cork. Laura Shinners lined out at corner back and Amy Quinlisk was introduced as a sub in the second half. Also on the A panel was Tara Lillis and Bonnie. All is not lost though as both teams have an All-Ireland championship to prepare for.
U15/16 Training: Training for all u15/u16 girls this Thursday @7:30 in Cloughjordan. Full attendance would be much appreciated.
Intermediate League: The intermediates will play Shannon Rovers next Sunday 20th march in the first round of the league. The match is fixed for 12 noon in Ballinderry. Try get down to Ballinderry to support the girls in black and white.
Strictly Come Dancing: It is getting closer and the dancers are training as hard as ever, have you got your ticket? Tickets can be bought from the dancers or anyone involved in the organising of the show. Tickets are limited so be quick. Anyone who wishes to donate spot prizes for the night can contact Michael O’Meara or Kieran Nevin.
Coaching Course: Award 1 Child Coaching course will commence on the following dates in Kilruane GAA grounds: Tuesday 15th March, Thursday 17th March, Tuesday 22nd March, Thursday 24th March and Tuesday 29th March. The course is tailored for age groups between U6 and U16. The course is limited to 30 places so please contact Noreen Maher if interested.
