Fund-raising
The club will be bag-packing in Dunnes Stores Nenagh on Friday 11th and Saturday 12th December next. The committee are currently finalising the rota of parents and senior players for both days. All support would be greatly appreciated to raise much needed funds for the club.
The club are also currently selling tickets for the Ardcroney Community Field Christmas Prize Draw. Tickets are €50.00 each with a top prize of €5,000. As the Camogie Club use this field for training and matches, we look forward to availing of improved facilities as a result of this fund-raising.
Sympathy
The club was shocked to receive the news of the untimely passing of Mary Coonan last weekend. Mary was a member of the club in the 1980’s and played on the Kilruane 7-a-side team who won the County Junior Title in 1984. She was a great supporter of Kilruane GAA and attended many hurling and camogie matches. Sincere sympathy is extended to her grieving family, mother Frances, brothers Noel and Eddie, sister Ann, relations and many friends on their loss.
