Commiserations to the Tipperary Minor team who were defeated by 2 points in the All-Ireland Minor A Championship against Kilkenny on Sunday last in The Ragg. Kilruane was represented by Roisin Cahill (wing-forward), Emma Cleary, Georgiana Finn and Lianne O'Kelly.

U16's
The U16's under their new manager Eddie Lillis got their championship campaign off to a flying start with a convincing win over Burgess in the first round of the U16B championship. This match was played in blustery and wet conditions on Saturday evening last in Kilcolman. Conditions were very difficult with a strong swirling wind but this did not deter the teams as they battled on bravely. The Kilruane girls found it easier to win vital possession and keep the scoreboard ticking in their favour. Goals from Tara Lillis (K), Amy Quinlisk and Gillian McSherry ensured victory for Kilruane in their first outing of the year. The next fixtures in this group is a home match against Ballina on Monday 13th and away to St. Cronan's on Monday 20th April. Training continues weekly and panel will be notified by text of training times.

U14's
The U14's first championship outing is against Burgess on this Wednesday evening 1st April in Kilcolman at 6.45pm. St. Cronan's and Shannon Rovers are also in this group with matches fixed for 8th and 15th April.
