Adult Teams
Kilruane had a home match on Friday last against Valley Rovers of Cork in the Munster League. Kilruane were missing a number of regular players and fielded a young inexperienced team against a strong well-drilled Valley Rovers team. Despite some good passages of play, Kilruane found it difficult to take their scores on the night as Valley Rovers ran out comfortable winners. The last match of the league is away to Toomevara this week, panel will be notified by text of confirmed fixture.
Commiserations to the Tipperary Intermediates team on their 5 point loss to Galway in the first round of the Intermediate Championship played on Saturday last in Killimor. Kilruane is represented by four players, captain Fiona Ryan at wing back, Sarah Coonan in goals, Lisa Cahill corner back and Roisin Cahill who came on at half-time and scored a point from play. Their next outing is a home match against Kildare on this Saturday 5th July.
U16 and U14
Training continues on Saturday mornings at 11am in Ardcroney.
U15 League
The U15 league fixtures were not played last week due to unavailability of teams and pitches. The first match is fixed for this Wednesday 2nd July against Ballina, venue to be confirmed.
U13
The U13’s are awaiting a confirmed date for their final round match against Drom.
U12, U10, U8 & U6
No training this week due to the Cul Camp in Cloughjordan.
U10’s
The U10’s played Nenagh on Wednesday evening last in a practice match in Ardcroney. Well done to all the girls who played so well.
