Adult Teams
Kilruane travelled to Newmarket on Fergus in Clare on Friday evening last to play the home team in the third round of the Munster league. Kilruane were missing a number of regular players and fielded a young inexperienced team against Newmarket-on-Fergus who are playing in the senior ranks in Clare. They faced an uphill battle from the start and Newmarket-on-Fergus ran out comfortable winners on the night. The next fixture is this Friday 27th in Cloughjordan against Valley Rovers of Cork.
U16 and U14
Training continues on Saturday mornings at 11am in Ardcroney.
U15 League
The U15 league was due to get underway with the first round played on Monday night last 23rd in Toomevara against Toomevara. Next match is against Silvermines on this Friday 27th June followed by a home match against Ballina on Wednesday 2nd July.
U13
The U13’s are awaiting a confirmed date for their final round match against Drom.
U12
Training continues every Wednesday evening in Ardcroney from 6.30-7.30pm.
U6, U8 and U10
Training continues every Wednesday evening in Ardcroney from 6.30 – 7.30pm. New members welcome.
U10’s
The U10’s travelled to Puckane on Saturday 21st last for a blitz organised by Kildangan club with 12 teams taking part. Kilruane played Shannon Rovers, Ballina and Nenagh in their three games. The girls played with great heart, skill and improving with every game, well done girls. A big thanks to Kildangan for a very well run blitz. Congratulations to Ardcroney National School on winning the U13C Cumann Na MbunScoil County Final on Tuesday 17th in Thurles with a comfortable win over Ballylooby NS. Well done to the team, captain Ali Mulcahy and school teachers Martin Ryan and Breda Conroy on their great win.
