Adult Teams
Indoor training for the intermediate and junior players continues every Friday night in the GAA Complex Cloughjordan at 8pm and outdoor in Cloughjordan on Sunday mornings at 12 noon. It is very encouraging to see a good turnout last weekend, so keep up the good work.
U14
The U14 panel continues training on Tuesday nights at the ball-wall in Cloughjordan at 6.30pm and on Sunday mornings in Ardcroney at 11.30am.
Membership
All players, team managements and club officers are reminded that membership is now due. Rates for 2014 are: Juvenile (age 6-17yrs) €30, Adult player (over 18’s) €45, Non-player €20, Family €100. Membership forms will be available at trainings and are also available from registrar Noel Coonan.
Commiserations
To Laura Shinners, representing Ardcroney National School, who narrowly lost out on points to the Kerry girl in the Munster Schools Final in Ballymacelligiott Co. Kerry. Laura had a great semi-final win over Clare but after a titanic struggle against Kerry in the final with games level, Laura unfortunately lost out on points.
Presentation Night
The Camogie Club and Hurling Club are holding a Joint Presentation Night to celebrate the achievements of the Junior A County Camogie Winners and the North Tipperary U21 Hurling Champions. This presentation will take place on Saturday 8th March in The Thatch, Ballycommon. Tickets priced at €10 are now available to purchase from Lisa Cahill 087-7528293 and Helen Heenan 087-6231432.
Date for your Diary
The Fashion Show will be held in the Abbey Court Hotel, Nenagh on Friday 28th February next. The committee are busy putting the finishing touches to the fashion show and all club members are encouraged to sell tickets. Tickets are priced at €10 each and each sold ticket will be included for a draw for a holiday voucher to the value of €300.
