Kilruane Camogie News
Hard luck to our under 18 team, who were defeated by Cashel by 2 points in the u18 ‘B’ County Semi-Final last Saturday in The Ragg. Playing in very wintery conditions the Kilruane girls never got going to their full potential. Cashel won the toss and opted to play with the strong breeze. This was to their benefit, when they went in at half-time with a 2-goal cushion. To their credit the Kilruane girls worked hard in the second half, and held Cashel to just one point. Despite this the MacDonaghs struggled against the elements and the Cashel defence and will rue the number of wides they clocked up. Many thanks to the team and management for their work all year. This brings an end to the 2013 camogie season for the u18 team and the club as a whole.
The club’s Annual General Meeting will take place on Friday 22nd November at 8pm in Cloughjordan.
Many thanks to all those who supported our table quiz last weekend. Thanks to all those who made donations, gave spot prizes, provided refreshments and helped out on the night.
