U13

The U13 panel have now completed their matches in the A league and unfortunately with results not going our way, do not progress to the semi-finals. Well done to all the girls for their effort and commitment put in at training and matches over the last few weeks.

Well done to Laura Shinners and Orla Molloy who had a good win in the Munster U12 handball finals played in Broadford on Saturday last. Grainne Molloy and Sile Spain also played in the U14 section but were unlucky to be beaten. Best of luck to Katie Gould and Eleanor Percy who are due to the play Limerick in the Munster U13 semi-final on this Wednesday in Broadford.

U14

With the U13 league matches completed, attention will now turn to the U14’s who resume training this week in preparation for the league which will start in 2 weeks time. Text will be sent to panel re training.

Minor

The Minor panel secured their second win in the championship with a great win over Cashel which was played in Ardcroney last Monday. This was a tough match with end to end camogie and excellent scores from both sides. Kilruane ran out winners on a scoreline of 1-11 to 1-04. The third round is due to be played against Nenagh on Monday 19th in Cloughjordan. Well done to all club members who received their Leaving Certificate results last week. Also the club wishes a speedy recovery to Aine Kennedy following her recent operation.

Junior

The Junior panel played a practice match against Shannon Rovers on Friday evening last in Ballinderry. This proved to be a great workout for this panel as they prepare for the next rounds of the Junior A and B championship. The Junior B panel play St. Cronan’s on this Friday evening 23rd in Cloughjordan and the Junior A’s are in action against Drom on Saturday 24th in The Ragg at 5.30pm.

Lucozade Sport Club Crusade

The club is taking part in the Lucozade Sport Club Crusade. By taking part, the club can get brand new match and training equipment and clothing from Azzurri by simply collecting the required number of lucozade sport bottle caps. Bottle caps can be given to your team managers at training or to assistant Secretary Noreen Maher who is co-ordinating this. Your participation in this promotion would be greatly appreciated so get collecting!
