Junior

Following a win over Crusheen in the final group game, the Juniors are now through to a play-off against Lorrha, which takes place this Friday at 7pm in Cloughjordan.

Under 18

It is important that all under 18 players are attending all training sessions. The first round of the 'B' championship is fixed for 7.15pm on July 9th, when we travel to Silvermines to take on the home side.

Under 12

Well done to the u12 who recently had a successful blitz in Ballinderry, playing matches against Shannon Rovers, Newport, Cashel and Portroe. Many thanks to Shannon Rovers for their hospitality.

Under 8

Our under 8 team travelled to Puckane to take on Kildangan in a practice match last Tuesday night. These were two very evenly matched teams, who provided end to end entertainment. Goalkeepers Michaela Reddan and Emma Williams kept their lines clear throughout. They had good support in front of them in Orna Daly. Christine Percy, although named as a defender, worked hard all over the field. The sideline cuts of Niamh Franks were a joy to behold, while the wrist work of Sarah Cleary makes her one to be watched in the future. Both Aoibe Spillane and Hannah Grace were a constant threat to the Kildangan side, while it was Ali O'Kelly who finally broke through the tight Kildangan defence and got the game's only score. Anna Rose Scott had a great game for the MacDonaghs, while Aoife Williams provided a valuable contribution in her debut match. Many thanks to Damien, Michael, Katie, Marie and all who helped out on the night. Huge thanks also to the Kildangan club for providing refreshments after the match.

Tipperary Camogie

Well done to Roisin Cahill and the Tipperary under 16 camogie team on their win over Clare in The Ragg on Sunday. Roisin lined out at wing forward and contributed 1-1 to Tipp's tally, and also had a hand in some other good scores. Well done also to Niamh Costello who was part of the squad. Niamh also lined out with the Tipperary u16 'B' team the previous day, when they travelled to Dublin and got the better of Antrim. Niamh had a fine game at both wing back and midfield. Best of luck to both teams this weekend. The A team take on a strong Galway side away on Saturday. The B team are also away and must travel to Down on Sunday to take on the home side.

Good luck also to Claire Kennedy and the Tipperary Senior Camogie team who take on Offaly on Saturday.

Bag Packing
Many thanks to all parents and members who helped out at the Club's annual bag packing event in Dunnes Stores last weekend.

Handball

At the North Tipp juvenile handball finals in Lahorna on Sunday, Katie O'Meara and Emily Gould were runners up in u11 in a very close game.

Next weekend the girls travel to Feile handball in Limerick. The team is Grainne Molloy, Katie Gould, Eleanor Percy, Laura Shinners and Orla Molloy. Best of luck girls.
