Junior

After a 1-16 to 0-4 win over Toomevara in The Ragg on Sunday last the Junior A team are through to the League semi-final against Drom. Despite a slow start the Kilruane girls worked hard as the game progressed and got the result they deserved. Thanks to the Borrisoleigh club for the loan of their jersies for the first half of this game.

This win means that both our Junior teams are through to the semi-finals of their respective leagues. This is a marvellous achievement for the club and great credit is due to these sets of players and management, who are coordinating two adult teams for the first time. In the Junior B semi-final we take on Nenagh. Both these semi-finals are expected to take part on the May Bank Holiday weekend and a big effort is needed from both panels in the coming weeks.
