The U8 and U10’s will resume training this Wednesday evening in Ardcroney at 7pm.

All Ireland Final

The Committee wish to thank all involved in organising a very successful raffle. The draw took place last Wednesday at the Super Stars Camp in Cloughjordan and the winning tickets were drawn by Tipperary Player Patrick ( Bonner ) Maher. The winners were as follows
1st prize 2 All Ireland Tickets Kevin Prout,
2nd Prize A Sportsman Dream Voucher M McGrath c/o Sophie O Neill Reidy,
3rd Prize A Meal Voucher Tony Slevin
4th Prize Gear Bag Claire Kennedy
5th Prize A Sports Hamper went to Marie O Brien c/o Evanna McCarthy.

Again the Committee would like to thank all those who sold tickets and supported us in this important fundraising event as a lot of funds are needed on an Annual Basis for the running of the Camogie Club. A special thanks to Joe Mulqueen of Andys Bar and Sportsman Dream for very kindly sponsoring the meal and sports vouchers

The club extends best wishes to Brian, Eamon, John and Seamus in their quest for All Ireland glory on Sunday next in Croke Park.

Super Stars Camp 2010

Seamus Hennessy and Brian O’Meara in conjunction with Kilruane Camogie Club ran a very successful Summer Camp last week in MacDonagh Park Cloughjordan. Up to 70 children attended from the age of 5 up to 13 years. The children took part in skills training and played fun games. The coaches were Niall O’Meara, Mikey Costello, Mark O’Meara, Fiona Ryan, Claire Kennedy, Davie Reddan and Justin Cahill. A number of County players attended during the week-long camp for autograph signing and training drills – Paddy Stapleton, Paudie O’Dwyer, Bonnar Maher, Noel McGrath and Paddy Murphy.
Thanks to Kilruane Hurling club for the use of the field and facilities, Pat Williams, caretaker for having the facilities ready each day for the camp, Peter McCarthy who did First Aid, and Marie Ryan for providing refreshments.
