Kilruane Camogie Junior Notes:

Our junior team started their championship campaign with a tough match away to Fethard on Friday night. Although we got off to a slow start, the game ended in excitement with a one point win. This was the only time in the match where Kilruane lead after Fethard started well and went in at half time leading by 4 points, 0-6 to 0-2. Kilruane worked hard in the second half to get back into the game but it was not until the last minutes when converted frees and points from play lead to the narrowest of victories at 0-9 to 0-10. Well done to all involved.

The next round is on Friday night in Cloughjordan at 7.30 where we will be meeting Portroe. Training continues during the week as per text messages.
