The junior hurlers failed to reproduce their North championship form and were beaten by a better Moyle Rovers side in the county quarter-final in Drombane. The finals of the Kilruane MacDonaghs u-10 hurling tournament were held in MacDonagh Park last Saturday. In the C final Nenagh Eire Óg proved too strong for Burgess. In the B decider Toomevara edged out Ahane. Kilruane MacDonaghs overcame Murroe-Boher in the A final on a 2-6 to 1-2 scoreline.
