Junior Hurling
The junior hurlers qualified for the semi-final of the championship thanks to a four point win against Silvermines on a 1-15 to 1-11 scoreline. At the interval MacDonaghs were two points ahead with the score 1-7 to 0-8 in their favour. On the restart, two quick points by Alan Ryan and Thomas Williams increased the margin to four, before Silvermines hit three points to leave the minimum between the sides. Kilruane replied by reeling off five points in succession. Silvermines struck for a goal in added time before Jonathan Cahill landed the insurance point. Minor Hurling
In the final group game the minor hurlers had a home victory against Roscrea on a 3-19 to 0-14 scoreline. Kilruane enjoyed a five point advantage at the break and a brace of second half goals from Niall O Meara put the issue beyond doubt. U-16 Hurling
The u-16 hurlers lost out by a point at home to Roscrea on a 1-13 to 2-9 scoreline. Team; David Reddan, Eoin Burns, Eanna Hogan, P.J. Cleary, Alan Darcy, Justin Cahill, Niall Murphy, Keith Kelly (1-5), Thomas Cleary (0-1), Robert Austin, Ronan Boyle (0-1), Morgan Conway, David Williams (1-0), Niall O Meara (0-1) and Eoin Williams (0-1). Sub: Sean Kelly. The next game is at home to Toomevara on Monday August 13th at 7.0 p.m. .

U-21 Hurling
Kilruane MacDonaghs play Toomevara in Nenagh on Tuesday August 14th in Nenagh at 7.30 p.m. .
