U8/U10
The U8/U10 teams played a 3-match blitz in St. Brendan’s Park Birr on Thursday last. Both teams played 3 matches against Birr, Drumcullen and Banagher. Well done to both teams on their performances and especially to the U8 team who won their 3 matches. Thanks to Birr for organising the matches and their hospitality on the night. This team are due to play a practice match against Kildangan on this Wednesday night in Ardcroney at 7pm.

U12
Training continues on Tuesday nights at 6.30pm and Saturday mornings at 11am in Ardcroney. Details of the remaining matches in the league will be given at training.

U14
Commiserations to the U14 panel who bowed out of the league as they were beaten by Drom in their last match on Friday 21st. In the first half, both teams took their scores well, however in the second half, Drom pulled away to win on a final scoreline of 1-2 to 2-5. Thanks to Katy Starr and Freddie Williams for all their hard work and dedication to this panel during the year. Whilst victory evaded this panel in the A group this year, the players had great performances especially during the Feile games.

Well done to our three club members, Sarah Coonan, Shauna Tooher and Eibhlin Enright who were victorious with the Tipperary A & B U14 teams at the All-Ireland Inter County Blitz held in Dr. Morris Park Thurles on Saturday last. Sarah and Shauna represented the club on the A team in goals and corner-back respectively, they beat teams from Dublin, Cork, Galway and were victorious over Kilkenny in the Final. Both girls played very well in all their matches. Eibhlin was full forward on the B team who beat Dublin, Kilkenny, Clare and overcame Galway in the final on a scoreline of 1-1 to 0-5. Eibhlin gave great performances on the day and is underage again next year.

Junior
The Junior team were defeated by Silvermines in their first round match on 17th August and are due to play Kildangan on this Monday night 31st in Puckane. This is a must-win game for the team if they are to remain in the Championship.
