Presentation Night:
Our Presentation night took place in the Western Pass on Friday last. Chairman of the club, Joe Cahill, opened proceedings and welcomed the fine crowd. Special Guests on the night included Chairman of the County Board Lar O’ Brien, aswell as captain of Kilruane’s victorious u21 ‘A’ county final winning team, Stephen Murphy. Secretary of the Kilruane hurling club, Kay Cahalan was also present. Lar congratulated the club on becoming u12 ‘B’ Champions. He also congratulated the u10 team on winning all matches in their group in the section ‘A’ County Board League. He also paid tribute to Kilruane’s three u14 players, Claire Kennedy, Joyce Tooher and Mary Walsh, who were part of the Tipperary U14 Panel last year. Stephen Murphy made a motivational speech to the team before presenting the U12’s with their medals. Shauna Tooher won the player of the year award. The U10’s were next to be presented with their medals. Finally, the U14’s, who won the Kilruane Tournament during the year, were presented with their medals. Thanks to all those who helped out ion organising the night, to the special guests who gave up their time so freely and to Mary Lynch of the Western Pass, who provided the food.

A.G.M:
Our annual General Meeting takes place in the Clubhouse in Cloughjordan on this Friday 25th January at 8pm. Refreshments will be served. Please come along to support the club. IN the last year the club has made great progress and we like to keep this momentum going for the coming year. It is therefore very important that anyone interested in the development of Camogie in the club should attend. All members of the Junior B Panel, aswell as the Parents of all juvenile players should attend.

The club would like to express deepest sympathies to the Starr family, Grange and the Tierney Family, Broklands on their recent bereavements.
