Junior B league
Well done to the junior B team who recorded their third successive league win on Friday evening last. The opposition on the night was Newport. Kilruane took the lead from the start with a fine point from Alice Deane. Kilruane stayed ahead for the duration of the game and recorded a comfortable win. This puts them through to the county semi-final of the league, which mostly likely will not take place until the leaving cert exams are finished. Well done to all involved.

Under 10 league
In the under 10 league, Kilruane were unlucky to lose out to Eire Og in Nenagh on Monday last. Eire Og had the advantage of the wind in the first half and went 2 goals up before Roisin Cahill got one back with a well taken free. Although they battled hard, the girls could not get the vital scores needed to win the game. Team: Maura Maher, Robyn Morkan, Leah Brereton, Nicole Spillane, Ciara Grace, Emma Cleary (captain), Grainne Gibson, Niamh Costello, Roisin Cahill, Laura Darcy, Chloe Morkan, Leanne Tooher, Sorcha Heenan, Shauna Maher and Niamh Mulroy. Subs: Laura Tierney, Aoife Mulroy and Meadhbh Heenan. Training continues in Ardcroney this Saturday morning at 11am. Our next match will be away to Newport on Monday 14th May at 6.30pm.
