Under 10 league
In the under 10 league, Kilruane drew with Moneygall on Saturday last. This was a long hard game, played in warm conditions, and the girls deserve great credit for their display. Although Kilruane had most of the play in the first half, they found it hard to break through a good Moneygall defence. Leanne Tooher got Kilruane’s only score to leave the score 1-0 to 0-0 at half time. In the second half Moneygall always had the upper hand and it wasn’t long before a goal was conceded. Although under a lot of pressure the girls did very well to hold out for a 1-0 to 1-0 draw.
