Junior Football

A 2-10 to 1-7 loss away to Portroe brought our championship to an end. We led 1-4 to 1-3 at the break. With two minutes of normal left, the sides were level. A Portroe goal from a penalty turned the tide for the home side, who also hit three late points.

In the first round of the North/Mid ‘A’ hurling League, we had a 4-14 to 1-11 away victory over Burgess. In the second round, we play Kiladangan in MacDonagh Park on Tuesday evening at 7.00pm.



In the County quarter final of the ‘C’ football championship, we had to give second best to Clonmel Commercials in MacDonagh Park. This is an 11-a-side competition, but the teams agreed to play 15-a-side.

North Tipp

Tadhg Teefey, Senan O’Leary, Tarla Doris, Mark Cleary and Shane O’Meara played for North Tipp U14s on Saturday against 2 Clare teams, winning one and losing one in Caherlohan (Clare GAA grounds near Tulla).


Primary Game

Well done to Caoimhe Kennedy, Kilruane NS, who lined out with the Tipperary Primary Game Camogie team against Cork in Semple Stadium on Sunday.



Congratulations to Laura Shinners and Amy Quinlisk, who played on the Tipperary intermediate team that claimed the Munster title with a victory over Kerry.


Cúl Camp

MacDonagh Park will host two Kelloggs Cúl Camps. The first Camp is scheduled for 1st to  5th July with the 2nd Camp running from 15th to 19th July. The cost is 1st child €75, 2nd child €50, 3rd and subsequent children €50. Each participant in the Camps will receive a jersey, ¼ Zip top and backpack. Booking is now open on



The jackpot stands at €3,600. Tickets are available from the usual outlets, or you can play on ClubSpot. Thanks for your continued support.



The weekly Bingo session continues on Saturday night in the Fr. O’Meara Centre, Kilruane at 8.00pm. The jackpot is now a very attractive €1,700.
