The u12s played Shannon Rovers in Ballinderry last Wednesday evening. The first half was very closely contested with both sets of backs on top. Sarah Cleary played her captain’s role perfectly and cleared ball after ball. She got great support in defence from Keira Madden and Lucy Gould. A Kilruane goal was the only score of the half. Kilruane upped the tempo in the second half and pulled away to finish 4-0 to nil. Scorers on the day were Ali O’Kelly and Aoife Williams. The third game is fixed for tonight, Wednesday, against Silvermines in Dolla.
The second round of the U16 championship will see Kilruane play the Silvermines this Friday at 6.30pm in Dolla.
Laura Shinners and the Tipperary minor outfit will play their All Ireland Semi-Final this Saturday against Galway. Venue to be confirmed.

The last of the Munster 40×20 Juvenile Finals were played at the weekend in Newmarket-on-Fergus. Hannah Grace and Leanne Gould were the Tipp representatives in U13 doubles and defeated their Clare opponents on a score line of 15-6, 15-2. Well done to all involved.
