Kilruane MacDonaghs Notes Nov-14-2018
MacDonaghs play Nenagh Éire Óg in the semi-final in Borrisokane on this Sunday at 2.30pm. Your support would be appreciated.
The club wishes a speedy recovery to our U14 captain Tom Larke who suffered an AC shoulder injury while playing rugby.
The eagerly anticipated 700 Draw takes place in the Corner House, Cloughjordan on this Friday, 16th November at 10.00pm. There has been phenomenal support for this fundraiser and it looks like all tickets will be sold by Friday night. A four-week selling blitz, which was co-ordinated by the Finance Committee, has ensured that this venture has been a tremendous success. The Corner House is likely to be bursting at the seams on Friday night as supporters gather to see who will be the proud owner of a new Citroen C3 Car, sponsored by Mulcahy Car Sales, Ardcroney. Results will be available as they happen on our Twitter account @MacDonaghsGAA.
The Annual General Meeting will take place in the Clubroom on Friday, 30th November at 8.00pm. It will be preceded by Mass for deceased members in Cloughjordan Church at 7.30pm.
The club extends sympathy to: Jim Hogan, Rathurles on the death of his brother Sean who died in England; Susan O’Brien of the death of her brother John Kennedy, Carrigatoher; Josie Whelan, Nenagh Road on the death of her sister Patsy Collins (née Burke) who died in England; and the Darcy family, Bantiss & Mary Hogan, Modreeny on the death of Nora Rainsford (née Darcy), Murroe, Limerick.
