MacDonaghs take on Nenagh Éire Óg in the first round of the county championship in Toomevara on this Sunday, 30th April at 3.30pm. Your support would be appreciated. Borrisokane will provide the opposition in the first round of the North championship on Sunday, 7th May at 1.00pm. Venue is yet to be confirmed.
 
Minor
In the second round of the hurling championship MacDonaghs lost out to a very useful Roscrea side in St. Cronan's Park on a 2-16 to 2-11 scoreline. A better balanced home outfit led by five points at the interval and always had a slight edge in this game. MacDonaghs cause was not helped when they lost a man overboard in the 50th minute.Team: Páidí Williams, Kevin Oakley, Mark O'Neill, Jack Dunne, Oisín O'Meara, Jerome Cahill (1-0), Luke Morkan, Nathan Ryan, Sean McAdams, Owen Usman, Craig Morgan (0-10), Dylan Moran, Matthew Spain, Luke Dervan and Kian O'Kelly (1-0). Under 16
MacDonaghs qualified for the North final with a comprehensive 11-16 to 0-6 victory over Lorrha/Rovers in Ardcroney.The Magpies had the use of a strong wind in the first half and were well in control at the interval with the score 4-12 to 0-4 in their favour. Team: Kevin McDonald, Dylan Moran, Ben Chadwick, Páidí Williams (0-1), Shane Whelan, Kian O'Kelly, Eoin Tinkler, Matthew Spain, David O'Sullivan (1-1), Nathan Lynch (6-9), Matthew Moyles (0-4), James Loughnane, Louis Kennedy (1-0), Aaron Morgan (1-1) and Jack White. Under 12
MacDonaghs had mixed fortunes against Kiladangan in the football championship. Team Dubh were victorious but team Bán lost out.
 
Community Games
The Community Games hurling team travelled to Ogonnelloe last week for a very useful challenge game against the home team. Thanks to our Clare hosts for the invitation.
 
County Draw
The new County Draw is being launched on this Thursday night in Thurles. Thanks to all who joined the last draw and we look forward to your continued support. Promoters and subscribers are asked to bring all payments up to date so that we can begin the new draw with a clean slate.
 
Clothes Collection
The Juvenile and Camogie clubs are once again joining forces for the annual Clothes Collection. Cothes can be left into the Complex Monday, 22nd to Saturday, 27th May.
