AGM

A healthy attendance gathered in the clubroom on last Friday night for the Annual General Meeting that was preceded by Mass for deceased members in Cloughjordan Church.  In their report, secretary Mary McLoughney and assistant secretary Gilbert Williams gave a comprehensive review of activities during 2017. Treasurer John Mulcahy presented a very detailed set of accounts that showed the club recording a surplus for the year.  Chairman Matt Cleary, who stepped down after his three-year-term, thanked everybody for their co-operation and assistance while he was in the chair. The nomination process worked very effectively and all positions were filled on the night: Presidents Tom Cleary, Tom McLoughney, Len Gaynor and Fr. Enda Burke; Vice-Presidents Martin O’Meara, John Heenan, Carmel Daly and Joe McCarthy; Chairman Joe Whelan; Vice-Chairman Matt Cleary; Secretary Mary McLoughney; Assistant Secretary/PRO Gilbert Williams; Treasurer John Mulcahy; Assistant Treasurer Michael Cahill; Registrar Carmel Daly; Child Welfare Officer Yvonne O’Looney;  Injury Claims Officer Kay Cahalan; North & County Board Delegate Gilbert Williams; School Liaison Officers Brian England, Barney Naughnane, John O’Meara and  Gilbert Williams.
