Juvenile

Training for u6, u8 and u10 continues on Wednesday evenings in Ardcroney at 7pm and all are welcome!

Under 12

On Saturday evening we travelled to Toomevara for an u12 practice match. The Kilruane girls took the lead with a well taken Ava Mcgrath goal. Captain Aoife Williams and Clodagh Shinners also added scores. Toomevara upped the pace in the second half but Katie Mulcahy  in goals pulled off a couple of fine saves and Molly Carroll was tight in defence. Ava Gaynor supplied a lot of ball to the forwards, where Christine Percy was a constant threat. Well done to the girls who are improving every week, Ciara Barry and Sarah Williams in particular had their best u12 games of this year so far.

Many thanks to Toomevara for the game. Thanks also to Shannon rovers who travelled to Cloughjordan to play us last week.

Finally, well done to Sarah Quinlisk who won the recent Cloughjordan area community games long puck.

Schools

Well done to Ardcroney school u13 Camogie team who won all their school games during the week and now go forward to the schools county finals in Semple Stadium in June. The school u11 Camogie team have also qualified. This is a great achievement to have both teams reach the county finals. Many thanks to Martin Ryan, Breda Conroy and all involved with promoting camogie in Ardcroney NS.

County Scene

As the intermediates prepare for the upcoming All Ireland championship, the Senior Munster Final against Cork has been fixed for this Saturday at 1.30pm in Pairc Uí Caoimh. Best wishes to all involved especially club members Róisín Cahill and Laura Shinners.
