The Camogie Club have launched a Predictive Quiz where cash prizes of €500, €200 and €100 are on offer to entrants who guess their favourites to win some of the biggest national and international sporting events of the year. Tickets cost €10 and are available from committee members, O’Sullivan’s shop, Ardcroney and Austin’s Centra, Cloughjordan.

Tipp Intermediate

Clubwoman, Róisín Cahill, was on the Tipperary intermediate team who overcame Armagh in Armagh on Sunday in the second round of their league campaign. Full time score Tipperary (3-14) Armagh (1-13).

Handball

Christine Percy & Lucy Gould competed against Cork in the u12 Munster Championship doubles on Sunday in Nenagh. The Tipp/Kilruane girls won 15-6; 15-2 and will go on to play their Munster final next weekend.

Well done to our juveniles Leanne Gould (u13 singles) Clodagh Shinners & Aoife Williams (u11 doubles) who took part in the Cumann na mBunscoil final day in Kingscourt this weekend. The girls played representatives from each of the three other provinces and overcame hard-fought battles against Connaught and Ulster but fell just short in the face of their Leinster opponents. Each of the girls received jerseys, certificates and medals on the day.

U10 Training

Training for U10 Camogie commences on Wednesday 7th March in Cloughjordan (ball wall – please wear runners) at 7pm sharp.
