Kilruane MacDonaghs Camogie Notes 10-Jan-2018

We hope all our members enjoyed a happy holiday period and are excited to kick-start the upcoming camogie year;

County Camogie

Tipperary camogie have resumed preseason training and we are proud to have two club representatives on the panel; Lisa and Róisín Cahill. We wish the girls the very best in their league campaign.

Intermediate:

The intermediates will recommence training this Friday 12th January under new management, further details will be provided via text.

U12 & U14

Our U12 & U14 panels have resumed training in preparation for the year ahead. This takes place in Lahorna handball alley on Thursday evenings, u12s at 6.30 and u14s at 7.30.

Handball

North Tipperary handball finals were played on Saturday in Nenagh where some of our dual stars saw great results;

Sarah Williams, Aoife Williams, Clodagh Shinners, Katie Mulcahy, Lucy Gould, Christine Percy, Hannah Grace and Leanne Gould proved victorious in their respective age groups while Anna Mulcahy and Áine Spain came up just short in their endeavour. All girls are to be commended for their participation and there is no doubt that the sport greatly adds to their development in camogie. See full results in Handball notes.

Condolences

The club wishes to extend our deepest sympathy to former player Mary Grace on the recent passing of her father, Tom Grace. Our thoughts and prayers remain with Mary, Bernie, Martin and their extended family.
