Senior Hurling
The senior hurlers were beaten by a better Drom-Inch side in the county qualifier. They will now be involved in a playoff to decide the group placings.

U-14 Hurling
The u-14 hurlers were beaten in the semi-final by Toomevara on a 4-3 to 1-2 scoreline. This team had a very rocky start to the year but showed significant improvement as the season progressed and competed well against a strong Toomevara side. Thanks to manager Jimmy Cahill and his selectors for their tremendous work with this group of players. Team: Dean O Meara, Jack Banaghan, P.J. Cleary, Aidan Boyle, Stephen Cleary, Jack Peters, Tomás Hogan, Robert Ward (0-1), David Williams, Ian McSherry, Alan Darcy, Raymond Kelly, Andrew Brennan, Kieran Cahill (0-1) and Jamie Heffernan.

U-16 Hurling
The u-16 hurlers lost out by nine points to Toomevara in their penultimate group game. Although Justin Cahill and Eanna Hogan were outstanding for MacDonaghs, a better balanced Toomevara side were always in control. The final game is at home to Newport on Friday August 24th. Team: David Reddan, Eoin Burns, Eanna Hogan, P.J. Cleary, Robert Ward, Justin Cahill, Niall Murphy, Keith Kelly, Thomas Cleary, Alan Darcy, Ronan Boyle, Morgan Conway, David Williams, Niall O Meara and Eoin Williams. Sub: Sean Kelly.

Minor Hurling
The minor hurlers will play Lorrha in the semi-final. This game won’t take place until after the All-Ireland.
