Cloughjordan N.S. drew with Borrisoleigh N.S. in the North hurling final in Toomevara. Both sides scored 1-4. The replay took place at the same venue on Tuesday. Kilruane N.S. were pipped by Scoil Eoin Roscrea in their final on a 4-5 to 2-8 scoreline. The Roscrea side had earlier overcome Ardcroney N.S. in the semi- with a six point victory. Ardcroney had led at the interval but Roscrea finished strongly to book their pace in the decider. Kilruane dominated possession in the final but a better balanced Roscrea team took their goal chances well and had three points to spare at the finish. Tickets for the Tipperary and Cork match must be collected from Michael Cahill before 8 o clock on Thursday evening. Any tickets uncollected by this time will be returned to the county board.
