Congratulations to Eamon O’Shea and the Tipperary team on the magnificent performance against Kilkenny. Thanks to all supporters who flew the blue and gold. There was a tremendous splash of colour throughout the parish with St. Kieran’s Close and MacDonagh Avenue looking particularly resplendent.

Tickets
Application for tickets for the replay should be made to Michael Cahill by Tuesday, September 16th. No late applications will be entertained. As there will be an increased demand for the replay tickets it may not be possible to facilitate all requests. Thanks to Michael Cahill who managed to replicate the Miracle of the Loaves and Fishes in accommodating all applicants for last Sunday’s game.

The U14 hurlers lost out to Moyne-Templetuohy in the county semi-final on a 2-10 to 0-12 scoreline. MacDonaghs led by a point at the interval but a goal by Moyne in the early minutes of the second half gave the initiative to the Mid champions who managed to keep sufficient daylight between the sides until the end. Team: Páidí Williams, Louis Kennedy, Jack Dunne, Conor Quinlan, Cian Spillane, Mark O’Neill (0-3), Aaron Morgan, Devlin Courtney, Kian O’Kelly, Nathan Lynch, Sean McAdams (0-9), Owen Usman, Matthew Moyles, Jack Dwan and Matthew Spain.
