Congratulations to the Tipperary minor football team and management on the magnificent victory in the All-Ireland final. Well done to Pat Murphy who was a selector with the side.

The U-21 hurlers have been drawn against Burgess in the second round. No date has been finalised for this fixture
The U-10 hurlers had a successful day out in Thurles at the recent blitz. They recorded victories against Clonoulty-Rossmore, Holycross-Ballycahill and JK Brackens. On this Saturday they participate in the Munster blitz and with the Borris-Ileigh tournament coming up on Saturday October 1st.
The U-8 hurlers hosted Silvermines last Saturday and despite the inclement weather four matches were played.
Training for the U-6, U-8 and U-10 panels continues each Monday evening at 6.30 p.m.
Arrangements are well advanced for the publication of the club calendar. This year’s issue proved to be a resounding success and there is expected to be a huge demand for the 2012 version which will be on sale in November.
The jackpot now stands at a hundred euro shy of €4,000. The club would like to thank all who consistently support the Lotto which is the club’s main source of revenue. The draw takes place each Monday night. Tickets cost €2 with three on offer for €5.
