Child Welfare

A Basic Awareness Child Welfare course will take place in Ardcroney Hall on Tuesday 19th February 7-10pm. It is recommended that all trainers/selectors working with players under the age of 18 should complete this training. Places are limited however and anyone interested should give their name to Child Welfare Officer Paula McSherry as soon as possible.

County teams

Best wishes to Sarah Coonan and Shauna Tooher who are part of the Tipperary u18 panel that will contest the Munster semi-final on Saturday next.

Claire Kennedy, Mary Walsh and Lisa Cahill are currently training with the Tipperary senior/intermediate teams. Well done to Claire and Mary on their performances in the recent practice match against Dublin. Next up is a challenge match against Wexford.

Good luck to club members currently attending the final u16 County trials.

Schools’ Handball

Well done to the girls of Ardcroney National School who played in Munster Finals of Cumann na mBunscoil on Sunday in Kerry. Orla Molloy played well but lost out narrowly in the final to Kerry. Laura Shinners teamed up with Katie Morris and they had a great win over Cork in the final.

Best Wishes

to Eibhlin Enright, Laura Downey and Kelly Hodgins who have transferred to Knockshegowna for the coming season. These girls have given great service to Kilruane MacDonaghs over the years and will be missed by their team-mates. We wish them well in the year ahead.
