Training continues in preparation for upcoming championship matches, fixtures to be confirmed. At this stage in a lengthy season focus remains as important as ever.

Under 12
Kilruane hosted an U12 blitz last Saturday morning in Cloughjordan with teams from Sylane in Galway, Burgess and Kilruane taking part. Kilruane had a panel of 23 players available on the day so two teams took part. Players:- Orla Molloy, Meadhbh Heenan, Catherine Tighe, Tara Lillis (K), Tara Lillis (B), Bonny Conroy, Laura Shinnors, Sophie O’Neill-Reidy, Amy Quinlisk, Eleanor Percy, Aoife Sullivan, Emily Tierney, Louise Torpey, Emma Conroy, Ella Kennedy, Clodagh Healy, Katie Gould, Leah Heffernan, Amy Hill, Cliodhna Nevin, Britney Hogan, Jessica Reddan and Katie O’Meara. There was a great display of skill and determination from all the teams. Each player received a Certificate for taking part in the blitz. Sincere thanks to our sponsors on the day: Country Kitchen Borrisokane, Austin’s Centra Cloughjordan and Murphys Cloughjordan. Thanks also to all the parents who brought food and helped out with the refreshments after the blitz. Thanks also to our referees Jimmy Cahill and Seamus Tynan, who handled proceedings perfectly.
Players will be notified by text of next training session as U12 games are due to start very shortly.

Cow dung competition
Many thanks to all players who have returned their completed ‘Dung Drop Draw’ cards. Some cards are still in circulation. Make sure to pledge just 2euro in support of this novelty fundraiser and be in with a chance of winning 300euro.

Poker Classic
The club will host a Poker Classic in Nenagh Golf Club on Sunday October 14th. Donations of any spot prizes would be most welcome.
