Kilruane Camogie News

Junior A
Best of luck to the Junior team as they take on Newport next Monday 7th May at 4pm in Newport. All support greatly appreciated. Full turnouts are expected at training this week in preparation for this important league match.

Under 16
Training continues Tuesdays and Thursdays in preparation for the second round of the championship. This takes place on Thursday 10th May at home to Silvermines.

Under 14
The u14 team secured their first win in the championship by defeating a depleted Moneygall team last week. This was a very entertaining game with little separating the two sides. This week they play Burgess-Duharra and next week will face St. Cronans at home on Tuesday May 8th.

Juvenile training
Training continues in Ardcroney Wednesday evenings at 6.30pm for the four youngest teams u6, u8, u10 and u12. New members are always welcome.

County scene
Well done to Sarah O’Sullivan and Shauna Maher who have been selected to be part of the Tipperary u15 development squad. Hard luck to Maria Hogan who lined out with Tipperary u16 ‘B’ team who were beaten on Sunday last. Sarah Coonan and Mary Walsh will have to wait another week as their Minor A Munster Final against Cork was postponed.

Referees course
Well done to our 5 club members who are currently doing their referees training – Lisa Cahill, Jennifer Hodgins, Shane Hodgins, Patricia Hogan and Niamh Williams.

Camogie Confined Draw
The Tipperary Camogie Confined Draw will be recommencing shortly. Committee members can be contacted for further details.
