U14

The U14 Presentation Night took place on Saturday 26th last in Ken’s Restaurant in Nenagh. Tipperary County Hurling star, Patrick (Bonnar) Maher, was the guest of honour and presented the medals to the panel of players who achieved glory earlier this year. County Chairman Joe Cahill made a presentation to each of our three club members, Sarah Coonan, Shauna Tooher and Claire Kennedy who won All-Ireland’s with the County at U16 and U18 level this year. Club Chairman, Philip Heenan, thanked and congratulated all involved in the U14’s great win and also thanked the parents and coaches of all the other teams in the club. He presented the Juvenile Player of the Year award to Georgiana Finn who had a great year playing wing back at U14, U15 and U16 level as well as playing with the County U14 team.

Calendars

Tipperary County Camogie Board have produced a commemorative calendar featuring county teams during the year. These are available from Ann O’Meara at €5 each.

Kilruane Hurling Club have launched their 2012 Calendar which features our winning County U14 team. These are available from Philip Heenan at €10 each.

Sympathy

The club extends sympathy to the Quinlisk Family Southhill and the Lillis family Borrisokane on the death of Mary O’Brien.
