U12

The U12’s played against a very strong physical Boherlahan team in the County Semi-final in Dolla on Saturday last in atrocious weather conditions. The first half was an even encounter with both defences well on top and scores hard to get. Boherlahan went in at half-time on top by the narrowest margin, 1-1 to 1-0. Kilruane faced an uphill battle in the second half having to play against a strong wind and in torrential rain. After a spirited display, Boherlahan ran out easy winners on a score line of 5-4 to 1-0. Well done to this young team for their great performances in the group matches and it has been a great achievement for them to reach a County semi-final.

Thanks to the management team of Shane Hodgins, Tom Quinlisk, Kelly Hodgins and Helen Heenan for all their hard work with this panel of players during the year.
